Pedro Daniel Ferreira is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, and a researcher at the Center for Research and Educational Intervention (CIIE). With a Ph.D. in Psychology, he has conducted research on civic and political participation and the political development of both young people and adults. He has been furthering his interest in the contexts and digital technologies and their contribution to education and political subjectivation. In this context, he has participated in and coordinated various national and international research projects. He is also a member of the Portuguese Society of Educational Sciences.
