Projeto Agarrados à Net

For 20 years, I managed companies, led teams, and coordinated various feasibility studies for the creation and evaluation of businesses across different sectors (commerce, industry, institutions, schools, services). I prepared hundreds of incentive applications and various characterization studies, benchmarking in business, evaluation of training-action projects, which gave me a strong capacity for strategic analysis, management, finance, market, marketing, and communication, among others, especially in structuring ideas.

Since 2016, I ventured into different areas, gaining a direct perspective on working with people, leading me to discover my life’s purpose and engage in fulfilling work: helping others through coaching. I created a specific program, Teen On Top – Coaching for Youth, where I assist young individuals in reaching their true potential and support parents in their task of educating their children. It’s worth noting that I have over 20 years of volunteering experience with children and young people. I also established the Teen On Top – School Edition program for schools, helping students define their goals while working on their self-esteem and self-confidence, aiding in preventing and combating early school dropout. In 2021, along with Tito de Morais, I initiated the “Agarrados à Net” project, aiming to promote digital well-being for children, youth, and adults in a practical, simple, and relaxed manner.

We address topics such as prevention of excessive and problematic use of technology, bullying and cyberbullying prevention, prevention of negative impacts of social media on body image, prevention of sexual violence based on images, prevention of participation in dangerous viral challenges, prevention of negative impacts of digital footprint, and promotion of positive digital parenting.

Among other programs, we developed the “21^7 Challenge – 7 Steps to Positive Digital Parenting,” “Digital Parents – Advocating for Positive Digital Parenting,” “Digital Footprint – Leave Your Positive Mark on the Net,” and “Make Yourself Heard! Turn the [Cyber]Bullying Around.”

I am a co-organizer and co-host of the Global Stop Cyberbullying Telesummit since 2022. I structured and delivered courses for Plátano Editora on “Citizenship Education and Digital Well-being” and “Bullying & Cyberbullying – How to Identify, Prevent, Intervene, and Combat,” promoted by the Regional Directorate of Education and the Regional Secretariat of Education, Science, and Technology of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

I was invited to join the panel of international experts at the Digital World Network (Brazil). Together with Tito de Morais, I created the “Digital Well-being Week,” which includes the “International Conference on the Promotion of Digital Well-being” and the “School for Digital Well-being” Seal.

Graduating in Business Management from the University of Minho (1992), I have continuously sought personal and professional development, combining my education with active roles in the institutions where I worked. Notable among my training are the International Executive MBA in Business Strategy from Georgetown University, various professional training courses in technical and personal development, and certifications such as IHTP COACHING Practitioner, International Practitioner Certification in NLP accredited by Richard Bandler, and International Certification in Human Transformation Coaching.
